Security

Security is core to how we build ParkTab. This page summarizes how we protect your information and how to report a potential vulnerability.

How we protect your data

  • Encryption in transit. Traffic between your device and ParkTab is encrypted using industry-standard TLS.
  • Payment data. Card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Access controls. Access to production systems and personal information is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
  • Monitoring. We log and monitor our systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity.

For details on what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Policy.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to us privately at [email protected]. Include enough detail to reproduce the issue. We ask that you:

  • Give us a reasonable time to investigate and address the issue before disclosing it publicly;
  • Avoid accessing, modifying, or deleting data that is not yours, and avoid degrading the Service for others;
  • Not use the issue for any purpose other than reporting it to us.

We will acknowledge reports submitted in good faith and will not pursue legal action against researchers who follow this guidance.
